Prerequisites

  • You will need a PC & Cable
  • Be on PW5, PW5SE, KT5 (possibly KOA3, KOA3W32C)
  • Firmwares 5.16.4 - 5.18.6
This works on blacklisted Kindles!

Installation Guide

Download the latest Nosebleed release:

This will only work on mass storage Kindles (listed in the prerequisites section.)

Aeroplane mode

Enable Aeroplane mode on your Kindle now to prevent updates.

Extract & Copy

Plug in the Kindle, Extract nosebleed.zip on your PC, and copy all of the files within the innermost folder into your Kindle's root.

Open Browser

Click on the top right menu and open the Browser.

Navigate to Nosebleed's Webpage

Navigate to https://kindlemodding.org/nosb.

Jailbreak!
